On your initial consultation, we will go over your full case history and also assess your painful condition or injury. Once we have identified the primary cause of your condition or injury we will approach this by treating the appropriate area. Your treatment is typically done through light clothing and is primarily a hands-on treatment. Your session involves applying pressure to your muscles that have been identified as being problematic in order to return your muscle tissue to a healthy state. The pressure used can vary from light to deeper pressure. However, patient comfort is the most important aspect and the amount of pressure utilised is determined by your age and suitability. For example, the degree of pressure used on an elderly client would be much lighter than that used on a sport’s person in his twenties. Additionally, some treatment may also be carried out on your joints if necessary. You may also be given some exercise advice to help your recovery.
The usual improvements that you will feel are:
- Decreased or eradicated pain
- Improved or fully-restored full range of movement
- Everyday activities that you had difficulty with, or simply couldn’t do are now much easier.
